Have you ever wondered why we artists are dran to particular color schemes ? why some favor a muted color palette whilst others play and experiment with the boldest of color choices.
People perceive color differently , they eyes and the incoming light interpreting information with individual nuances ... what some may call a shade of burgundy others may call a hue of claret red... the universal color theory is wide open for individual interpretation Here I would like to play with some of my favorite color wheel chart collections , inspired by my travels, photographs taken when visual inspiration called for my attention ... ~ What is a Color Mixing Guide ? color mixing is an artform in and of itself, depending on whther you use oil paints, water colors, printmaking inks, crayons , html color codes or collage papers... mixing colors is as individual as the eye of the beholder ... however there are some color mixing guides that explain the variety of complimentary colors , hues and shades , tints and color combinations that evoke particular moods
What are Mood Ring Color Charts ?
- Mood Rings change their color depending on the " mood" of the wearer... or so they claim ... :-) ..however mood ring color chart variations simply react to heat variations of the wearer ..where by the mood ring takes on a different hue
